In the extended meeting of the sector in Asharqia Chamber
Barshaid: the sector has achieved great achievements and sales of more than 5.9 billion
The
head of the Board of Directors of Asharqia Chamber Abdulrahman bin Saleh Al Ataishan
stressed that the extended meetings, held
for employees of the real estate sector reflects the aspirations of a more participatory journey in the process of
economic transformation in the country.
In
the extended real estate meeting, which was organized by Asharqia Chamber in its
headquarters in the evening of Wednesday, December 21, 2016 Al Ataishan said that
the real estate sector is an important issue
in the kingdom vision 2030, playing an important role in pushing the wheel of progress
forward, and creates more work opportunities among the national work force.
The
economic activity acts in more than one industry and activity closely related
to the real estate sector, and therefor, such meetings would contribute to
moving the real estate growth in the Eastern Province towards further progress
and prosperity.
Al
Ataishan pointed that there are important proposals on the regulatory
environment for the real estate sector in the Kingdom, and incentives and goals
towards infrastructure development strategy and raising the percentage of
ownership of Saudi citizens of homes from 47% to 52%, establishing the real estate sector contrastingly, the
private sector plays the biggest role,
which pushes us to know our requirements according to the new national choices, this meeting comes to spot the developments and
challenges and reading and express opinions for the initiatives, programs and solutions that will
enhance the real estate environment in the region.
He
said that the challenges are great, and focusing on creating the right
environment for the real estate sector has become a subject to a bigger space for
coordination and dialogue between all real estate owners, being the real
starting point for the acceleration in dealing with the challenges and
providing solutions and achieving its goals.
For
his part, Head of the Real Estate Committee in the Chamber Khalid Barshaid in the
meeting which was attended by Secretary General of the Chamber Abdulrahman bin
Abdullah Al Wabel and a remarkable number of businessmen and interested
specialists, said the committee proceed in its activities through its vision
which emphasizes the leadership in the real estate industry, and its mission to
achieve an ambitious real estate industry
and a sustainable progress through the creation of an environment capable of
starting towards the local leadership and the international competition in line
with the Kingdom vision 2030.
He
said that the committee aims to work as an active partner with the concerned
authorities for the development of laws and regulations that would increase the
professionalism and credibility in the real estate industry to match the Vision
2030, and the development and organization of real estate and its services, as
well as the spread of the culture and awareness of the real estate.
Barshaid noted
that the Committee discussed a number of topics on the real estate arena, and
has sought to review the challenges and realistic solutions proposed to them
through the participation of consultants and specialists and communicate with
officials to hold regular meetings, and the formation of specialized working
groups to study the issues of the relationship, hosting officials from the
government sector, and holding
extended meetings of the real estate sector.
Barshaid explained
that the contribution and achievements of the Committee in the current year for many in 2016
to serve the sector has been established several specialized in the following up
work teams with the National Committee and marketing, mediation and plans and
contributions in addition to the Committee on mortgage support, and a team of
the Executive Committee.
The
Committee also continued directly with the National Real Estate Committee at
the Council of Saudi Chambers, in addition to the exchange of views and
cooperation with other committees in the Kingdom chambers, and discussion and
debate with the National Committee to reduce the first installment in a loan
new mortgage system, and participate in the workshop fee program white
land, and following up of the national Committee to activate the real estate
contribution system with the Ministry of trade and investment, and to respond to
more than 22 cases of real estate received from the Islamic courts and the related
authorities, and the nomination of members to participate in the committees of
expropriation for public interest of the region.
Barshaid
said that the sector has achieved great achievements on the level of sales with
total sales record in real estate auctions of more than 5.9 billion riyals.
